The basketball championship of Turkmenistan among boys and girls born in 2007-2008 starts in Dashoguz. Competitions will be held from July 27 to August 6.
First, girls will take to the floor (from July 27 to August 1), and then boys (from August 1 to 6). Teams from all velayats of the country and the capital Ashgabat will take part in the fight for medals, reported the Basketball Federation of Turkmenistan.
Particular attention will be paid to the development of women's basketball.On July 30, Dashoguz will host the FIBA Her World, Her Rules program (“Her world, her rules”), which is aimed at popularizing this sport among girls.
Representatives of all velayats will take part in it.This is the second such program in Turkmenistan.Earlier it was successfully held in Lebap.
