Days of Turkmen culture will be held in Kazakhstan

The Days of Culture of Turkmenistan will be held in Kazakhstan in 2022. Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Kazakhstan Batyr Rejepov announced this today during a briefing, “Kazinform” MIA reports.

The Turkmen ambassador noted that such an event had not been held for more than three years. The impetus for this was the recent state visit of the President of Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan. According to Rejepov, the ministries of culture and sports of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan are working on this.

The ambassador reminded that next year is the jubilee year of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan. In this regard, a number of activities are planned.

"Fundamental among them is an agreement on friendly relations on cooperation, as well as an agreement on strategic partnership, signed within the framework of the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Kazakhstan in 2017," Batyr Rejepov added.
