The state information agency TDH reports that on 13 October in the course of Turkmenistan’s Cabinet session, President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov reprimanded Deputy Prime Minister overseeing culture Annageldy Garadjaev.
According to the media outlet, the head of the state expressed serious discontent with the performance in the area of culture aimed at identifying young promising talented artists as well as failure to ensure top organizational level of cultural events.
The President issued a reprimand to the Deputy Prime Minister for poor performance of job responsibilities and weakening of control to provide top quality organization of the concert devoted to the Elders Council.
Let us recall that on 9-10 October the annual Council of Elders was held in Turkmenistan when the president was awarded the title the Hero of Turkmenistan for the second time and announced the introduction of fees for gas, electricity, water and salt.
