1.President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to keep the focus on preparing the areas allocated for cotton for sowing during a working video meeting on Monday.As noted, currently in the regions, in accordance with agrotechnical standards, work continues on caring for wheat, leveling and grading land for sowing cotton.
Preparations are underway for agricultural machinery and units that will be used in the upcoming season, as well as high-quality seeds for cotton growers.
2. The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will visit Uzbekistan to participate in events marking the 300th anniversary of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi. This is stated in the message of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
3.In Ashgabat, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met with a delegation headed by Acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan Amir Khan Mottaki who arrived in Turkmenistan.During the negotiations, the parties discussed a wide range of issues in bilateral relations.
In particular, an analysis was carried out of the current situation regarding the implementation of large energy and transport projects with the participation of Turkmenistan and Afghanistan.
4.An exhibition of Afghan goods and a Turkmen-Afghan business forum will be held in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.The events are scheduled to take place from March 3 to 5.
The corresponding Resolution was signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, ordering the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs to organize these events at a high level.
5.An international scientific and practical conference dedicated to current issues of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer was held in Ashgabat.The forum was held at the Scientific and Clinical Center for Oncology of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan.
It was attended by managers and oncologists from capital and velayat centers, medical and specialized educational institutions in Ashgabat, leading specialists from Germany, Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Belarus.
6.On the streets of Brussels, the verses of the Turkmen poet Magtymguly Fragi were heard from the lips of residents of the Belgian capital.This action is a challenge launched by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kingdom of Belgium in honor of the 300th anniversary of the poet’s birth.
Residents of Brussels recited the poem by the great Turkmen poet “The Future of Turkmenistan” in English and French.
