Diplomats of Turkmenistan and France discussed new areas of partnership

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov held a meeting with the Ambassador of France to Turkmenistan Philippe Merlin.According to the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, during the meeting the parties discussed the state and prospects of bilateral relations, emphasizing their consistent nature, covering political and diplomatic, trade and economic partnership and the cultural and humanitarian sphere.

The diplomats noted the positive experience of interaction at international venues and considered issues of expanding cooperation in such areas as energy, logistics, construction, agriculture and green technologies. Effective cooperation in the field of speleology, archeology and the study of the French language was also noted.

At the end of the meeting, Akhmet Gurbanov and Philippe Merlin expressed mutual readiness to further strengthen and expand bilateral cooperation.
