Direct flights between Minsk and Turkmenbashi

“Belavia” Airlines connected Minsk (Belarus) and Turkmenbashi (Turkmenistan) by direct flights. Previously, there were no direct regular flights between these cities.

On October 26, Turkmenbashi International Airport received the first passenger flight B2745 of the Belarusian air carrier “Belavia”.

An Embraer 195 aircraft from “Minsk” National Airport landed at Turkmenbashi Airport early this morning.

Flights on the route Minsk-Turkmenbashi-Minsk will be operated by “Belavia” Airlines on Tuesdays once every two weeks.Flight B2745 will depart from Minsk on Tuesday at 22:40, arriving at Turkmenbashi Airport at 04:45 on Wednesday local time.

The departure of the return flight B2746 is at 5:45 on Wednesday, and in Minsk it will be at 08:05, also taking into account the time difference.

In addition to business representatives, a direct flight will be in demand for numerous Turkmen students studying in Belarus.

Now “Belavia” operates flights to 16 airports in eight countries.

Flights are carried out on Brazilian Embraer E195 aircraft. The aircraft is designed to carry 125 people (9 seats in business class and 116 seats in economy class).

Previously, “Belavia” flew to Ashgabat, but due to the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020, flights were suspended.

Let us remind that from October 15, 2022, “Turkmenistan” Airlines resumed direct flights on the Ashgabat-Minsk-Turkmenbashi route. Planes fly once a week on Saturdays.

Citizens of Turkmenistan need a visa to visit Belarus. The cost of a visa is 60 euros (for all types of visas with any number of entries). Foreigners under the age of 14 are exempted from the consular fee for consideration of applications for issuing visas of the Republic of Belarus.
