Drivers from Uzbekistan will be able to receive Turkmen visa using the simplified procedure

Turkmenistan, Iran and Uzbekistan agreed to simplify procedure of the international consignments, it was reported by MIR 24 with the reference to the press-service of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan.

The corresponding agreements between the General Director of the Agency of Transport and Communication of Turkmenistan Mammethan Chakyev, Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Ilhom Mahkamov and the Minister of Roads and Urban Planning of Iran Said Rustam Qasimi were reached on the sidelines of the international transport conference in Ashgabat.

The parties agreed to reduce of automobile transportation fees and organization of the intermodal transportation to Turkey along Uzbekistan Turkmenistan Iran corridor.

Moreover, it is noted that the drivers from Uzbekistan now will be able to receive Turkmen visa using the simplified procedure.

Representatives of Uzbekistan and Iran agreed to organize automobile transportation from the port of Chabahar in Uzbekistan, as well as through Uzbekistan on the China Europe route.
