Dutch Max Verstappen has set a new Formula-1 record for the number of wins in a season

Two-time Formula-1 champion “Red Bull” driver, Dutch racing driver Max Verstappen, who won the Mexican Gran Prix race today, set a new record for the number of victories in a season.

The victory at the Mexican Grand Prix become for Verstappen a 14th in the current Championship. The 25-years old Dutchman outperformed the record of the Germans Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel in this indicator.

Previously, the maximum drivers won 13 races in one season Michael Schumacher managed to do it in 2004, and Sebastian Vettel in 2013.

After the Mexican Grand Prix, Verstappen is ahead of his teammate Sergio Perez, who is in second position in the individual standings, by 136 points.
