The Mejlis of Turkmenistan has called early elections of deputies in three electoral districts in Ashgabat. This decision was made in connection with the early departure of current deputies from constituencies No. 1 “Garashsyzlyk”, No. 2 “Bitaraplyk” and No. 6 “Kopetdag,” TDH reports.
In accordance with the Electoral Code, voting for the election of deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan in these electoral districts will take place on July 7, 2024.
The corresponding Resolution was signed by the Chairman of the Mejlis, Dunyagozel Gulmanova.
