Enterprise in Eastern Turkmenistan Produces Nearly 8,000 Tons of Flour

The grain processing enterprise in Turkmenabat city in Turkmenistan’s eastern velayat of Lebap produced 7,801 tons of flour of the high and first grades in January-February of this year.

Wheat is transported to the enterprise from all the etraps of the Lebap velayat. The grain processing enterprise’s flour is delivered to all regions of the country, the country’s official media reported on Tuesday.

In addition to the flour, the enterprise also produces semolina, bran and rice. In the first two months of this year, 20 tons of semolina, 2,351 tons of bran and 576 tons of rice were produced at the enterprise.

The grain processing enterprise in Turkmenabat city was launhed in September 2013, and currently employs 211 specialists. The production capacity of the enterprise is 96,700 tons of products per year.
