The Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan operates 27 enterprises in different regions of the country that produce industrial and construction products necessary for facilities being built in the country and other sectors of the economy.
Among them: cement plants Bäherden, Balkan, Lebap, quarry departments (Geokdepe, Kaakhka, Balkan, Koytendag, Bereket, Galaymor), Demirbetonönümleri enterprises located in Ashgabat, Dashoguz, Mary, Turkmenabad, “Zerger”, Yashlyk expanded clay plant, plant for the production of aerated concrete, the State Enterprise “Nebitmash”, the Polimer önümleri plant, the Metal-Mechanical Enterprise, the State Enterprises Türkmendemirönümleri, Türkmen aýna önümleri, the State Specialized Enterprise Zarba, the Directorate for Objects Under Construction, the Closed Joint-Stock Company Türkmenmermer, the Design Institute Senagattaslama.
The following products are widely used in the national economy of the country: cement, non-metallic materials, metal and polymer products, glass and glass products, structural reinforced concrete and large-panel housing and construction products, electronic and machine-building equipment, materials for wall cladding, expanded clay, kaolin, gypsum, aerated concrete, isogam.
These and other industrial and building materials are in demand both in the domestic market and abroad.
In order to produce high-quality, environmentally friendly, competitive industrial products from local raw materials, to establish processing industrial production on an innovative basis, industry enterprises are being modernized and equipped with modern technological equipment.
