Erdogan promised to comprehensively develop friendly cooperation with Turkmenistan

The President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, re-elected in the second round of elections, promised to comprehensively develop traditionally friendly interactions with Turkmenistan. He stated this today during a telephone conversation with the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, reports the Turkmen State News Agency.

On behalf of the Turkmen people, as well as on behalf of himself and his family, the head of the highest representative body of people's power sincerely congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his democratic re-election as President of the Republic of Türkiye.

During a telephone conversation, the interlocutors highly appreciated the Turkmen-Turkish dialogue, discussed the priorities of multilateral relations built on the principles of mutual respect, trust, long-term and close cooperation.

Reaffirming the commitment of the two countries to the comprehensive expansion of political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian relations, the head of the highest representative body of people's power and the Turkish leader expressed confidence that the partnership based on mutual understanding will contribute to the successful continuation of multilateral interstate cooperation in all areas.
