A thematic exhibition “The World of Dolls and Toys” has opened in the State Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat. This was reported by “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
The focus of the exhibition is on the historical and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, their traditions and way of life. The exhibits represent part of the author's collections of masters from all over the country.
Dolls dressed in national costumes are a reflection of folk authenticity, unique culture and centuries-old history. In addition to traditional dolls, there are many different genres of souvenir toys: stuffed fabric dolls, painted pumpkins, decorative lamps in a fairytale theme and much more.
