Export Trades on Turkmen Commodity Exchange on Friday: Technical Iodine

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) during Friday trades registered the sale of technical iodine for a total amount of $10.9 million.

A business from the UAE bought 175 tons of technical iodine of "A" brand, according to the SCRMET.

The technical iodine was sold at the SCRMET auction at a price of $62.5 thousand per ton.

Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the SCRMET amounted to more than $83.56 million.

The SCRMET is the main body that has been regulating export and import operations in Turkmenistan since 1994.
