FC Arkadag Strengthens Squad Ahead of AFC Champions Playoffs

FC Arkadag has launched an active transfer campaign ahead of key AFC Champions League 2 matches, focusing on strengthening its attacking line.

According to the club’s press service, the team has added two forwards from the Turkmenistan national team: 22-year-old Kopetdag striker Dayanch Meredov and 24-year-old forward Rahman Myratberdiyev, formerly of Altyn Asyr.

Earlier, 25-year-old midfielder Meylis Diniyev, who previously played for Ahal and Kyrgyzaltyn, also joined Arkadag.

Arkadag will face Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr in the Round of 16, with the first leg scheduled for February 11 and the return match on February 18. The aggregate score will determine which team advances to the next stage.
