Fees and tariffs for cargo transportation are streamlined

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, according to which relative fees and tariffs have been set for the period from November 15, 2020 to November 15, 2021 for owners of cargo trailers and semi-trailers from the states, which are members of the Ashgabat Treaty and Treaty on Transit and Transport Cooperation (Lapis Lazuli Agreement), or motor trailers and semi-trailers from foreign countries following across the territory of these states at the entry to Turkmenistan and in cases when towing vehicles of foreign states are not used during transit across Turkmenistan.

The fees and tariffs will be collected by authorized banks and sent to the State Development Fund of Turkmenistan Golden Age.The Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Protection, the State Customs Service and Türkmenawtoulaglary Agency together with the Ministry of Justice are assigned to develop the proposals on amendments and addendums of the legislation of Turkmenistan followed from this Resolution and to present it to the Cabinet of Ministers within one month.
