Finely ground sulfur will be produced in Turkmenistan

In Turkmenistan, they will soon start producing finely ground sulfur. This was announced at a visiting expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held in Lebap.

Reporting to the President of Turkmenistan on the steps taken to establish the production of new types of chemical products in demand for the needs of agriculture, Deputy Prime Minister Shamuhammet Durdylyev said that on the basis of the Turkmenabat Chemical Plant named after S.A.

Niyazov, it is planned, using modern innovative technologies and specialized equipment, to establish production of finely ground sulfur with an annual capacity of at least 20 thousand tons.

Having listened to the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of steadily increasing the volume and range of chemical products produced in the country, which are in high demand, both in the domestic and foreign markets.

In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister was instructed to work out in detail the issues of technical re-equipment of enterprises of the domestic chemical industry and the establishment of production of new types of popular products based on the richest local resources, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported today.
