Flying car received aviation safety certificate

The Klein Vision AirCar has received permission to fly over Bratislava. Slovak flying car manufacturer Klein Vision has received the first European aviation safety certificate for its car-aircraft hybrid.

According to euronews, the two-seat prototype has already made more than 200 takeoffs and landings, with a total flying time of over 75 hours. After landing, the hybrid is able to automatically transform into a sports car by folding its wings and tail.

Currently, the maximum flight range of AirCar is 500 kilometers, but the developers hope that in the future this hybrid may become an energy-efficient alternative to air taxi helicopters.
