A meeting was held in Astana between the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan - Rashid Meredov and Murat Nurtleu.During the talks, the sides discussed a wide range of bilateral cooperation issues, including the status and prospects of cooperation in political, trade and economic, transit and transport, energy, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as the schedule of upcoming international events at the highest and high levels.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan congratulated Rashid Meredov on the successful holding of the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in Kazakhstan, as well as on the opening of a monument to Turkmen thinker and poet Magtymguly Fragi in Astana, the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry reported.
