Four football associations expressed interest in conduction of the final part of the Asian Cup 2023, the AFC official website reports.
Its interest expressed the Football Associations of Australia, Indonesia, Republic of Korea and Qatar.
Until August 31, countries have to provide governmental guarantees. After this AFC administration will conduct an overall evaluation of the bids prior to the selection and announcement of the country host of the Asian Cup 2023 with the participation of 24 teams.
Let’s remind that at the Asian Cup 2023 the national teams of Japan, Syria, Qatar, South Korea, Australia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, UAE, China, Iraq, Oman, Vietnam, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Tajikistan, India, Hong Kong, Bahrein, Malaysia, Kyrgyzstan and Indonesia will perform.
The decision on the host country of the Asian Cup 2023 will be made on October, 17, 2022 at a meeting of the AFC Executive Committee.
