French and Turkmen performers confess their love for Ashgabat on music language

Maxim Zekini and David Bismut last year, saying goodbye to the Ashgabat audience after the concert, promised to return and, as we see, they kept their promise. The French-Turkmen concert "Eternal Love" held with their participation on the stage of the Turkmen Music and Drama Theater named after Makhtumkuli.

This is the third visit to Turkmenistan for Maxim and the second - for David. We have already acquainted the readers with the work of these musicians, but still recall, both are graduates of the Paris National Conservatory and, according to experts, are among the ten most talented French pianists.

The rich performing repertoire, own arrangements, classical and modern works help musicians to find the key to the hearts of the widest audience of listeners. Performing skills make it possible for Maxim to play with one left hand.

In addition, if at the last concert the participation of Turkmen singers was impromptu, this time Bahar Durdiyeva and Nury Nuryyev became co-authors of the musical evening. Both vocalists are graduates of the faculty of solo singing at the Turkmen National Conservatory.

Currently, Bahar Durdiyeva works in the Palace of Mukam. Her repertoire includes works by foreign, Russian and Turkmen composers.Nury Nuryev - vocal teacher, winner of the international competition of young opera singers named after Elena Obraztsova in St.

Fragments from the opera by Georges Bizet “Carmen” opened the concert “Eternal Love”.The passion of love for the gypsy of the simple-minded officer José from the novel by Prosper Merimee and Carmen’s desire for freedom led to a tragic end.

The music of Bizet, which reproduces the heat of passions and torments of jealousy excite the listeners and once again delighted.

The second part of the concert consisted of soundtracks to French films. Michel Legrand and Vladimir Kosma performed the music from the films “Cherbourg Umbrellas”, “Girls from Rochford”, “Boom” and others. Finally, the third and final part of the concert program, consisting of hits from the repertoire of Patricia Kaas, Joe Dassin, Edith Piaf.As expected, “Gypsy” by Charles Aznavour opened the song part.

This month, the world community said farewell to the legendary singer, composer and poet who passed away in '95.In memory of him, Maxim Zekini and David Bismut called the concert “Eternal Love”.

Two songs of Turkmen composers Nury Halmamedov and Bayramdurdy Khudainazarov - “Word Confused” and “My Country Love” - organically fit into the outline of the concert.

Then the presenter announced a surprise. Most of the listeners in the hall, of course, guessed that outside the program from the stage of the music and Drama Theater there will be “Eternal Love”.

The listeners were not mistaken: Bahar Durdyeva and Nury Nuryyev performed the song masterpiece gently and shrilly to the accompaniment of Maxim Zekini. The excited public addressed a banch of applause to vocalists and musicians - guests and masters of the stage.
