French Institute in Turkmenistan launched an educational project for women needlewomen

The French Institute in Ashgabat launched a new project to teach business French to women artisans and handicraft manufacturers in Turkmenistan who want to export their products.

The project was launched within the framework of the program for the promotion of the French language in Central Asia, which is funded by the Innovation Projects Solidarity Fund of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The project will be implemented in partnership with the Handmade Export 2021 Business Cubator program organized by the domestic company “Orlan” with the support of the USAID project to develop entrepreneurship and business environment in Turkmenistan.

Namely, for the participants of the target group of the Handmade Export 2021 program, who are already involved in training on online sales of their products on global platforms, business-oriented French courses will be organized.

The French courses will run from October to December 2021 and include 36 hours of lessons.

The most successful participants in the Handmade Export 2021 project will receive the main prize - participation in the Paris exhibition “Maison & Objet”, according to a press release from the Institute.
