Friday Export Trades in Turkmen Commodity Exchange Hit $126.77 Million

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) during Friday trades registered deals for the purchase of diesel fuel, gasoline of A-92 and ECO-93 types for the total of more than $126 million.

Businesses from Afghanistan procured 6.5 thousand tons of A-92 gasoline and 3.5 tons of diesel fuel, according to the SCRMET. The price of a ton of A-92 gasoline, sold at the auctions, was $699.5 and a ton of the diesel fuel amounted to $701.

Furthermore, the UAE and Afghan businesses purchased 150 thousand tons of ECO-93 gasoline worth $119.7 million. A ton of the gasoline was $798.5.

Established in 1994, the SCRMET is the main body regulating export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
