GDP of Turkmenistan has grown by 5, 9 % in the first quarter of 2021

The rise of GDP of Turkmenistan in the first quarter of 2021 made up 5, 9 % as compared with the same period of 2020. For January-March, this year manufacture of produicts in the country has grown by 3, 2 %, and the volume of retail trade by 17, 7 %.

President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov was reported by the deputy chairman of the Cabinet Gadyrgeldy Mushshikov on macroeconomic indicators at the government meeting held on Friday, April 9.

He also reported on the building and reconstruction of the prjoobjects planned for 2019-2025. From 259 projects for January-March 30, 168 are under construction.
