Geography of Transactions: from Uzbekistan and Afghanistan to Scotland and the USA

27 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

In foreign currency, businessmen from Hong Kong, Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan bought aviation and illuminating kerosene, and gasoline produced at the Turkmenbashi Refinery Complex.

Deals in foreign currency made by traders from Russia, the USA, China, the OAE, Turkey, and Azerbaijan also included cotton yarn, licorice rhizomes and roots. The sum total of the transactions was over US $4, 908,000.

In local currency, representatives of business circles from the UAE, Scotland, Pakistan, and Kazakhstan purchased cotton yarn. The sum total of the deals exceeded 26, 984,000 manats.

For the domestic market, local entrepreneurs bought mung beans and cotton fiber (over 2,405,000 manats).
