The ahal-teke horse is not only the pride of the Turkmen nation, but also a symbol of its statehood, independence, and openness to international dialogue.This was stated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during a visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, where he took part in the world equestrian championships and the ahal-teke beauty contest.
In his speech, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty emphasised that Turkmenistan, as a responsible member of the global community and custodian of a unique cultural and historical heritage, sees its duty in uniting people around lofty humanistic goals.
A special role in this mission is given to the legendary breed of horses.According to the National Leader, the swift and noble stride of ahal-teke horses should continue to pave the way for global peace, prosperity, and constructive cooperation between countries.
