In 2023, specialists from various government agencies and institutions of Turkmenistan successfully completed short-term training courses under the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program (MTCP).

The award ceremony for graduates was held in December in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event was held with the support of the Embassy of Malaysia in Ashgabat.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia Mohd Suhaimi Bin Ahmad Tajuddin emphasized the importance of such programs for the further development of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and Malaysia.

In a solemn ceremony, Mr. Tajuddin presented certificates and memorable gifts to MTCP graduates.

MTCP Malaysia was established in 1980. The program offers more than 60 technical trainings and courses annually in collaboration with leading local educational institutions and international strategic development partners.

To date, thousands of participants from developing countries, including Turkmenistan, have benefited from various MTCP courses, according to the IIR website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
