This morning, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived on an official visit to the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan - the city of Dushanbe, reports NIAT "Khovar".

At the Dushanbe International Airport, the high-ranking guest was met by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda and other officials.

As part of this trip, Turkmen-Tajik meetings and negotiations at a high state level are envisaged.

Turkmenistan and Tajikistan will consider a wide range of bilateral cooperation. After the meeting and high-level negotiations, a number of new documents on bilateral cooperation are expected to be signed.

Also, as part of the trip program, the National Leader of the Turkmen people will meet with the Chairman of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Rustami Emomali, the Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon

Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda and will take part in a joint concert program of art masters of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan - “An Evening of Friendship.”
