Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, arrived in Kazan on Wednesday for a visit, the press service of the head of the Republic of Tatarstan said.
At Kazan International Airport named after G.Tukai, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was welcomed by Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais of Tatarstan, and other officials.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in Kazan to take part in the events of the International Economic Forum “Russia Islamic World: KazanForum.”
The “Russia Islamic World: KazanForum” is one of the key platforms for developing economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and countries of the Islamic world.
