The head of the Halk Maslahaty gave instructions to ensure high quality of construction and finishing of the new mosque, and also got acquainted with other projects of facilities, the construction of which will be carried out as part of the second phase.
These include the “Saglyk” park, projects for the administrative building of the hyakimlik of the Gorjav etrap, luxury residential buildings and other objects.
2.The “Agreement on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Republic of Korea” was signed following negotiations between the heads of the Foreign Ministries of the two countries.
Before the signing ceremony, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea discussed in detail the priority areas of trade and economic cooperation, including a wide range of joint projects in industry, energy, digital technologies, environmental protection and other areas.
3.Starting from November 1, “Turkmenistan” Airlines will operate passenger flights to 7 countries - Russia, Türkiye, China, Great Britain, Germany, UAE and India.This is evidenced by the updated winter schedule on the official website of the air carrier. “Turkmen Airlines” planes will fly 5 times weekly to Kazan, 10 to Istanbul, 2 to Delhi, 2 to Dubai, 2 to Beijing, 1 to Frankfurt am Main, 1 to London.
4.The capital of Turkmenistan has joined the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the “Design” category.Ashgabat has become part of the project along with 54 other cities around the world, which are committed to developing partnerships to promote the development of the cultural sector. “The new cities were recognized for their strong commitment to using culture and creativity as part of their development strategies and demonstrating innovative practices in humanistic urban planning”, - UNESCO said in a press release.
5.Farmers in Ahal velayat grow “Cavendish” bananas in the desert.For this purpose, a tropical oasis was created from greenhouses, the height of which is 9 meters, the area is 5 hectares. 10 thousand trees were planted in greenhouses.
Banana seedlings were brought from Turkey, and they took root well in the new conditions.The trees have already begun to bear their first fruits.One banana bunch weighs 30-35 kg.
6.Turkmenistan and Türkiye will open joint diploma programs in universities, which will permit both countries to accept students for bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs.This format of training became possible thanks to the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Türkiye for cooperation in the field of higher education.
The document was signed within the framework of the visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Turkey on October 25-26.
