Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Meets With Head of German Equestrian Firm

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, met with Katharina Irena Anna Margaretha Jacob, a member of the International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding and Director of the German equestrian firm Pferdezucht Dr. Jacobs, at the Equestrian Complex in Arkadag City on Friday.

As reported by Turkmenistan's official media, during the meeting, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Katarina Irene Anna Margarete Jakob discussed initiatives focused on elevating the reputation of Akhal-Teke horses globally.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed his gratitude to Katarina Jakob for her active participation in the festive events held in the country, especially in the national holiday of the Turkmen horse.

In turn, Katarina Jakob thanked Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the high level of organization of festive events, including international forums.

During the conversation, it was noted that Turkmen-German cooperation is developing dynamically. At the same time, great importance is attached to cooperation in the field of horse breeding.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized Katarina Irene Anna Margarete Jakob's contribution to enhancing the worldwide fame of Akhal-Teke horses. The National Leader of the Turkmen people also noted that the awards presented to her by Turkmenistan are evidence of high appreciation for her work.

Then the National Leader of the Turkmen people met with the athletes of the Arkadag football club at the Multipurpose Sports Complex in the city of Arkadag.
