At the Ashgabat International Airport, a meeting was held between the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Affairs of the Office of the President of the UAE Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The purpose of the visit was to further strengthen Turkmen-Emirati relations.
According to TDH, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan warmly greeted each other and emphasized their interest in expanding multifaceted cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UAE.
During the meeting, the importance of the recent visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen people to the UAE was noted. The agreements reached then gave new impetus to the development of Turkmen-Emirati relations in trade, economic, humanitarian and other spheres.
The parties noted with satisfaction the progressive development of long-term cooperation between the countries. There was great potential for its further diversification.
At the end of the meeting, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed confidence in the continuation of a constructive dialogue that meets the interests of Turkmenistan and the UAE.
