The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highly praised the work of the Turkmen youth during his speech at the Halk Maslakhaty meeting in Ashgabat on Sunday, according to the country's official media.
The Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty emphasized that this year's motto, "Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar," reflects the great confidence placed in the youth as the future of the independent country.
"Our state youth policy encompasses a comprehensive set of socio-economic, political, cultural, organizational, and legal measures aimed at ensuring and supporting the rights, freedoms, and state guarantees of young citizens,” Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people highlighted the special importance given by the state to the active involvement of young people in the economic, political, and cultural life of the country, as well as the upbringing of a knowledgeable and educated generation with a broad global perspective.
During his speech at the Halk Maslakhaty meeting, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also urged the continuation of the proud traditions set by ancestors.
