Today, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov went on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform the hajj rites on June 29-30, 2023.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, together with the head of the highest representative body of people's power, members of the Council of Elders under the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care also went to sacred Mecca, the official website of the Halk Maslahaty reports.
During their visit to Saudi Arabia, Turkmen pilgrims will visit holy places and take part in Friday prayers. During the celebration of Gurban Bayram, worship of the Holy Kaaba will be performed. Here the members of the delegation will give sadaka.
