Hacking popular passwords is a matter of seconds

The security situation for the world's most popular passwords remains unchanged from year to year. According to a study conducted by the developer of the password manager NordPass, the most common passwords in the world can be cracked in less than one second, writes Ferra.ru.

The top three in ease of hacking is led by the password “123456,” which has been used more than 4.5 million times.In second place is “admin”, and in third place is “12345678”, used 4 and 1.4 million times, respectively.

To protect your data online, experts advise creating complex passwords that are at least 20 characters long and include lowercase and uppercase letters, numbers and special characters.
