“Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone” wins Best Film Starring Children

The Cinema channel has compiled a rating of the best films with children in the lead roles, TASS reports.

Topping the list is the first film in the Harry Potter film franchise, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, directed by Chris Columbus, which made famous young actors Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson all over the world.

In second place is Night Shyamalan's The Sixth Sense, starring nine-year-old Hayley Joel Osment and Bruce Willis. Hayley Joel Osment won a Saturn Award for Best Young Actor and an MTV Breakthrough Award for his role in this film.

Closed the top three film "Home Alone" by Chris Columbus with Macaulay Culkin in the title role. Until 2011, this tape was the most profitable comedy in the history of world cinema.
