Khasan Metkulyev, the khyakim of Farab etrap, Lebap velayat of Turkmenistan, has died.
According to various sources, Metkuliev died either on 14 or on 18 July, 2020.
Correspondents of “Chronicles of Turkmenistan” report that the day before his death he was admitted to the infectious diseases hospital of Turkmenabat.
Several members of his family have been diagnosed with pneumonia and are in critical condition. Other relatives have been placed under home quarantine.
On 26 June, 2020 President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov issued severe reprimands with the final warning for improper execution of job-related responsibilities to several khyakims of etraps, including Metkulyev.
