Head of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to President of the Republic of Cuba Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkmen-Cuban diplomatic relations, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports today.
The congratulatory telegram notes that "Turkmenistan is interested in expanding bilateral ties." Along with this, the Head of State expressed confidence that, thanks to the joint efforts, cooperation between the countries, the relations between which are based on mutual respect, equality and mutual trust, will continue developing in the interests of both peoples.
Taking this opportunity, Serdar Berdimuhamedov sincerely wished President Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez good health, happiness and prosperity, and the people of Cuba - progress and well-being.
The diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Cuba were established on March 23, 1992.
