Head of Turkmenistan's EU Delegation Presents Credentials to EU Protocol

Turkmenistan's Ambassador to the Benelux countries and head of Turkmenistan's Delegation to the European Union (EU) Sapar Palvanov presented copies of credentials to EU Protocol Head Thierry Béchet on Tuesday in Brussels, the Turkmen embassy informed.

During the meeting, the diplomats exchanged views on strengthening bilateral cooperation and ways of its development.

The Turkmen ambassador emphasized Turkmenistan's commitment to increasing areas of cooperation and upgrading current bilateral institutions.

The sides emphasized establishing relationships at the highest levels, which would undoubtedly provide a concrete push for bilateral cooperation in all fields. Priorities include environmental protection, energy, and education.

Summing up, the Turkmen Ambassador and the EU Protocol Head underlined that both nations have significant potential for collaboration and that they would contribute to raising mutually beneficial relations to a new level.
