Turkmen carpet products, including handmade carpets of Hemdem brand are now available for sale on the e-commerce platform eBay.
Founder of Hemdem carpet brand Arslan Hudayberdiyev informed Business Turkmenistan that his brand’s carpets of different sizes, carpet bags, kilims, prayer rugs and wall ornaments are now available on the eBay.
Hudayberdiyev said the main consumers of Turkmen carpets and handmade products of Hemdem brand are mainly from such countries as the United States, Germany and Italy. Buyers of these carpet products pay special attention to their historical importance as well as to the density of knots per square meter, he added.
Hemdem branded carpet products are mainly made from wool and silk.
