One of them is the businesswoman from Kenya Nzambi Matee who intends to transform a plastic waste into a steady and strong building material. Her company Gjenge Makers uses a plastic waste of commercial objects for creation of bricks.

The special car presses a brick from a mix of the processed plastic and sand strong and steady alternative to concrete. The fibrous structure of plastic makes a brick not only easier, but also less fragile, than concrete. The company offers bricks for inhabited and commercial premises, for use on roads.

Plastic is a material which is used incorrectly. Its potential is huge, she speaks.

Gjenge Makers can make to 1500 bricks a day. Since 2017 the factory already processed 20 tons of plastic and created 120 workplaces in Nairobi.
