III week of November: SCRMET Export Transactions Exceed $8.7 Million

The total amount of transactions at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCREMET) for the past week amounted to $8.7 million, the press service of the SCREMET reported on Monday.

Business representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Singapore and Afghanistan purchased polypropylene and jet fuel produced by the State Concern Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) with foreign currency.

As reported by SCRMET, business people from Türkiye, the UAE, Afghanistan and the Kyrgyz Republic have purchased bed linen sets, cotton fabrics, yarn and Portland cement.

For the domestic market, Turkmen business people purchased polypropylene, illuminating paraffin, oil road bitumen (State Concern Türkmennebit), handmade carpets, velvet and cotton fabrics, and cotton yarn for a total amount of more than 89 million 798 thousand manats.

Last week, the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan registered 81 deals.

In October, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) concluded deals worth $130 million.
