In connection with the visit of Iran’s President bus drivers requested to close windows

On 27-28 March President of Iran Hassan Rouhani paid an official visit to Turkmenistan.

Correspondents of “Chronicles of Turkmenistan” report that on 28 March at many bus stops the officials wearing black uniforms demanded that drivers of passenger buses close all windows. It appears that these were tightened security measures in connection with a visit of the distinguished guest.

If the drivers did not obey, the uniformed officials got on the buses and without providing any explanations shut all windows.

In particular, they kept vigil at bus stops located at the intersection of Gogol and Grazhdanskaya streets, Gagarina street and at bus stops located along Turkmenbashi avenue.

It should be emphasized that new buses which service the Ashgabat public transport routes, are not equipped with air conditioners despite the outside temperature of above 30 degree Celsius which was recorded on these days.
