The total length of this pipeline is 1,833 kilometers. The planned gas supply capacity is 60 billion cubic meters per year. Since its commissioning in December 2009, it has been operating stably and safely for over 11 years.

According to the company, imports of natural gas through this pipeline account for more than 15 percent of all gas consumed in the country per year. The pipeline covers 500 million people in 27 provinces of China, cities of central government and autonomous regions, as well as in Hong Kong SAR.
