The delegation of Turkmenistan led by the mufti of the country will go next week to Afghanistan for participation in the opening ceremony of the mosque constructed in frontier district Andhoi (settlement Akina) of the province of Faryab as friendly gesture of support of the Turkmen party to the Afghani people.
The opening of the new mosque designed for simultaneous reception of 500 believers, became one of the themes of telephone conversation between presidents of two countries Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, passed on Saturday, November 28.
For the mosque building in the neighbouring country Turkmenistan has allocated means and has concluded in the name of the consulate in Mazar-i-Sharif the contract with the Afghani Company Ghazanfar Construction, Road Work Rail Way Construction Material P.CO.
In the middle of November the contractor reported on the completion of building and readiness of the mosque fully for the solemn opening. For acceptance of object and its official transfer as brotherly gift to the administration of Akina of the area Andhoi from Turkmenistan the delegation will be sent to the neighbouring country.
Turkmenistan on a constant basis renders the humanitarian aid to the Afghani state. The construction of the mosque was carried out on the basis of the cultural-humanitarian program for 2018-2020 between Turkmenistan and Afghanistan.
