International Forum on Food Security proposed to be held in Turkmenistan

It is proposed to hold the International Forum on Food Security in Turkmenistan. Such an initiative was announced in the speech of the Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the UN Aksoltan Atayeva.

In her speech, the Ambassador highlighted the issues of food and energy security, transport and climate change, voicing the initiative of Turkmenistan “Dialogue: a guarantee for peace”.

A. Atayeva called on the international community to ensure the preservation of stability in the world food market and jointly seek solutions to the complex problem of providing food to the most vulnerable countries.

For this purpose, she proposed holding an international forum on food security in Turkmenistan, reports the publication newscentralasia.
