Iran and India agreed to develop the Chabahar port with joint efforts

Representatives of the Foreign Ministries of Iran and India held a telephone conversation, within the framework of which they discussed various issues of mutual interest, reports IRNA.

The main emphasize was placed on the development of the Chabahar port and the strengthening of bilateral ties.

During the conversation, the parties reaffirmed the commitment of their countries to strengthening mutual cooperation and solving common problems.

Let us remind that earlier President Serdar Berdimuhamedov proposed to establish cooperation between the seaports of Chabahar and Turkmenbashi at a meeting with the head of the Republic of India Ram Nath Kovind in Ashgabat.
