Iranian President Expresses Satisfaction With Promising Turkmen-Iranian Economic Relations

President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, expressed satisfaction in a letter addressed to Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov regarding the positive advancement of mutual economic ties over the past two years.

Ebrahim Raisi acknowledged the comprehensive efforts made by the relevant institutions of both countries to enhance their partnership, which resulted in promising economic development, the official Turkmen media reported on Wednesday.

"I would like to express my high satisfaction with the successful holding of the seventeenth meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Iranian Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkmenistan and the Specialised Exhibition Iran Prože on November 17-18 in beautiful Ashgabat," Ebrahim Raisi's letter stated.

Furthermore, Seyed Ibrahim Raisi emphasized the commitment of the heads of both countries to strengthen relations in all areas by highlighting the significance of signing the relevant Protocol and several other documents on bilateral cooperation after the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission.

The Specialised exhibition titled Iran Prože from the Islamic Republic of Iran was held from November 17-19, 2023, at the exhibition hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
