The opening of an agency office in Turkmenistan should be a new step in the context of expanding cooperation between the parties.

During the meeting, it was also emphasized that Ashgabat actively cooperates in the field of renewable energy with UNDP, UNIDO and UNEP.

The meeting with the Director General of IRENA was held within the framework of the participation of the delegation of Turkmenistan in the World Government Summit (WGS 2024), which is taking place in Dubai.
