During the recent meeting of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Italian Republic, Toyly Komekov, with the diplomatic adviser to the Minister of Culture of Italy Paolo Toski, issues of implementation of the agreements in the field of culture reached between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Italy Sergio Mattarella during a telephone conversation on September 3, 2020 were discussed.
The parties discussed various projects to popularize the spiritual and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, hold various exhibitions and conferences dedicated to the history and culture of the Turkmen people and the implementation of joint events in Turkmenistan and the Italian Republic.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to organize in the near future the first meeting of the Working Group on Cultural Dialogue between Turkmenistan and Italy.
